Configuring Base Station Modes
Here’s a quick look at how to configure your Sonetics DECT7 Wireless Base Station for each of its three operating modes.
Digital Intercom Connection:
- Disconnect the base station from the power supply.
- Hold down pairing buttons 1 and 2 while connecting the power supply.
Wait until only the yellow LED lights above pairing buttons 1 and 2 light up as well as the green POWER LED light. The green LED lights on the ports 1 and 2 will also light up. - Unplug the base station and plug it back in.
Legacy Analog Intercom:
- Disconnect the base station from the power supply.
- Hold down pairing buttons 2 and 3 while connecting the power supply.
Wait until only the yellow LED lights above pairing buttons 2 and 3 light up as well as the green POWER LED light. The green LED lights on the ports 2 and 3 will also light up. - Unplug the base station and plug it back in.
Base Station Portable ComHub Connection:
- Disconnect the base station from the power supply.
- Hold down pairing button 3 while connecting the power supply.
Wait until only the yellow LED light above pairing button 5 lights up as well as the green POWER LED light. - Select the pairing button that matches the number of channels you need. The yellow LED light will come on above it.
- Unplug the base station and plug it back in.
- Repeat steps 1 – 4 to when needing to readjust the number of channels.
