Common Features — Connect any Apex 3-Series wireless headset or DECT7 Portable ComHub to a portable or mobile radio with an accessory listed below. Enables radio push-to-talk (PTT) output from headset. Unless otherwise noted, includes 6-foot coiled cable (when fully extended).

On the "CPS programming" in the configurator software for the Motorola APX 8000 portable radios, go to "radio ergonomics configuration", then "radio ergonomics wide", and finally change "active mic for radio PTT" to "RSM mic".
